| Frequently Asked Questions:
When will I receive my order?
In general, upon receiving a confirmed payment, if the items are in stock, processing time for orders usually takes 1-3 business days
prior to shipping. Once shipped, transit times vary, but generally take 1-7 business days. For a complete explanation of our shipping policy, please read our terms and conditions here.
What is the 30 day guarantee?
We accept the return of products within 30 days from the date of purchase.
After 30 days, orders fall under 1 year warranty terms and conditions. A
return will include a full refund, minus the cost of shipping both ways.
Items must be returned new, unused, and unassembled in the original
packaging. All refunds are applied to the same credit card used in the
initial purchase. If an order was paid for by check or money order, please
allow approximately 2 weeks for a refund check to be mailed.
What is the 1 year warranty?
All products have a 1 year
warranty on the parts. If a part breaks due to a defect of the item, Ideasalons.com
will replace the part free of charge with no shipping costs for the
customer. All replacement parts are shipped with a standard ground service.
Damage due to inappropriate use by the customer will void the warranty. The
warranty does not include labor or installation of the parts and the company
does not provide assistance with installation or repair.
Will I get a tracking number once my order is shipped?
Once an order is shipped, you will
receive tracking information by email, provided you have given us a correct email address. For a complete explanation of our shipping policy, please read our terms and conditions here.
My order was damaged during shipping?
If your order arrived damaged due to shipping, you must report the damage to Idealsalons within 15 days from the order date to qualify for a free replacement.
How do I clean my steamer?
Steamers should only be handled by
licensed estheticians. Please note, not cleaning the steamer properly
could result in voiding the warranty because of inappropriate use.
General Cleaning Directions & Maintenance:
Never put essential oils or herbs into the water. When dropped into a
closed jar, they can cause spitting of water, clog the steamer or even break
the jar. At night, empty the jar and let it dry. Make sure that
the rubber seal along the rim of the jar is clean. Refill the steamer with
fresh distilled water each morning. Turn it on to give it a chance to warm
up. This will save valuable time when receiving your first client of the
day. To adequately maintain your facial steamer, follow these guidelines.
- Always use distilled water.
- Do not leave water in the steamer overnight.
- Neglected steamers have a tendency to spit hot water because of the
build-up of mineral deposits that occur with daily use. Use a cleaning
solution of plain vinegar and water.
1. Add two tablespoons of white vinegar and fill to the top with water.
2. Turn on the steamer and let it heat to steaming. Do not turn on the
ozone.
3. Let the machine steam for 30 seconds or until the water level is low, but
make sure it stays above the low-level line.
4. Turn off the steamer and let the vinegar solution rest in the unit for 15
minutes. Because vinegar tends to have a pungent smell, clean the steamer in
your utility room or in an area away from the treatment rooms.
5. Drain the steamer completely and then refill with water. Again let the
steamer heat to steaming and operate for approximately 10 minutes. If there
is still an odor, drain the unit and repeat the process.
6. Do not allow the caustic vinegar and water solution to sit on the heating
coil without steaming immediately. If left overnight, it will totally
corrode the copper coils.
7. The steamer should be trouble free if you follow this cleaning procedure.
